In her final year of high school, young Isabela falls in love with Rafael Miguel, famous for his role in the remake of the telenovela "Chiquititas". Despite experiencing the enchantment of first love, at home, the young woman is subjected to a routine of violence imposed by her father, Paulo Cupertino, a feared man with a dark past who, upon discovering Rafael, forbids his daughter from going out. Determined to live her passion, Isabela tries to escape, but ends up becoming part of a tragedy: Rafael and his parents are brutally murdered by gunfire. A crime that shocked the country and initiated one of the largest police manhunts in recent years in Brazil.
