Oiregor Tarpud - a musician's life
The documentary “Oiregor Tarpud – a musician’s life” is about the life and masterpieces of Rogërio Duprat. This Brazilian erudite composer is author of the New Music Movement and responsible for the tune of Tropicália. Always revolutionary, he opposed nationalism in the erudite music compositions.
The film’s narrative is led by statements by Rogério himself and important people in the Brazilian cultural scenery such as Décio Pignatari, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Gilberto Mendes, Rita Lee, Walter Hugo Khouri and Walter Lima Júnior.
