This documentary retraces the route followed by the Langsdorff Expedition, carried out in 1825 and sponsored by Czar Alexander I and by the Russian government. Six thousand kilometers were covered in the rivers between São Paulo and the Amazon forest. The film, tracing a parallel between past and present, shows a Brazil known by very few people. From mines to the Indian tribes, our team experiences the excitements of an adventure which is 170 years and 6 kilometers from Tietê to Amazon. It counts on the participation of Florence, the great-great-granddaughter of the artist who accompanied Langsdorff by painting the expedition.
