Urban Maps I: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador

Urban Maps I unveils the great urban centers of Brazil, from the point of view of poets and composers who love their city. They reveal the five largest Brazilian metropolises - São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Recife. The films are told through images of the city, poems, songs and especially testimonies from some of the most respected poets and popular composers in the country.

Urban Maps II: Recife of Poets and Composers

The documentary series about Recife portrays the city through interviews with poets and composers. The interviewees highlight the Pernambuco imaginary by retracing the history of Recife – its apogee, decline, and cultural reaffirmation. The living conditions and musical creation in Recife are addressed by Lenine, Siba from Mestre Ambrósio, Silvério Pessoa, Cascabulho, Antonio Nóbrega, Jorge Wanderley, Sebastião Uchoa Leite, Jorge dü Peixe from Nação Zumbi, Otto, Fred Zero Quatro from Mundo Livre SA, Faces do Subúrbio, and Cannibal.
